Art as Therapy is a community based private practice located in Orangeville, Brampton and Milton, ON that also provides therapy support online.
About us
Art as Therapy began as an idea, a simple vision of providing a therapeutic space, where individuals felt a sense of ease. That despite the challenges they were facing, they would feel supported and empowered to create the change THEY wished for or imagined. This vision was built on a simple notion, that all people, irrespective of gender, age, ability, socio-economic status or any other human made barrier, inherently have the inner power to realize their unique potential.
The psychotherapists at Art as Therapy are committed in helping their clients imagine new possibilities and support them to implement different ways of engaging in their world. While we use different modalities in supporting clients, our practice is grounded in anti-racist, anti-oppressive and cultural humility practice. With that in mind we invite folks who identify as IBPOC (Indigenous, Black and people of colour), 2SLBGTQ++ and all intersectional/marginalized identities to consider the position.
